GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

Goal

The goal of this workshop is to present strategies which will provide literacy instructors with information and skills in teaching the writing process.

Objectives

Upon completion of this module participants will be able to:

1. Identify and define an enabling writing environment for literacy students;
2. Describe the relationship between reading and writing;
3. Identify and describe the components of the writing process;
4. Apply writing activities which involve the writing process;
5. Understand the facilitation process.
