How can you improve and document your students’ learning gains? This workshop provides strategies for organizing instruction and for monitoring and documenting student progress.

GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

Goal

The goal of this workshop is to familiarize participants with instructional organizing and monitoring (accountability) strategies that can improve students' learning gains.

Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Describe the classroom contexts in which they perform accountability activities;
2. Describe several accountability strategies that lead to students learning gains; and
3. Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of various accountability strategies in relation to their own classrooms.
