GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

Goal

The goal of this session is to help participants determine content and strategies for mentoring so that they can become effective mentors.

Objectives

By the end of Session Two, participants will be able to

  1. Identify ways in which mentoring content is determined;
  2. Describe effective mentoring strategies;
  3. Select strategies appropriate to their programs; and
  4. Use questioning to facilitate discussions with mentees.
