Differentiating Instruction, Session Two: Strategies for Success

This workshop focuses on classroom applications of differentiating instruction, including project-based learning. You will learn six steps to developing a differentiated lesson. Session One is a pre-requisite for attending this workshop.

GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

Goal

The goal of this workshop is to provide hands-on application of Differentiated Instruction (DI) principles and practices.

Objectives

By the end of Session Two, participants will be able to:

  1. Review DI as an instructional process;
  2. Build a learning sequence based on the six steps of planning for DI;
  3. Include project-based instruction as an option under Step 5 of the process; and
  4. Summarize and evaluate the use of DI in adult education classrooms.
