Resources at the Center
The
Capital Area Professional Development Center provides
resources in several media to all educators, administrators, tutors
and students.

Print
Materials, Videos and Tutorial Tapes may be checked out for up to three weeks. Many of the videos are accompanied by print materials.
The videos may be viewed on site in the resource center.
If you are not
able to come to the resource center to pick up the materials, they can be mailed to you.
The only expense incurred by your agency will be the mailing cost for returning
the materials back to the center.

The National Center for ESL Literacy Education (NCLE) at the Center for Applied Linguistics provides timely and authoritative information about literacy education for adults learning English as a second language (ESL). http://www.cal.org/ncle/
Literacy.org is a gateway to electronic resources and tools for the national and international adult literacy communities. The site is jointly sponsored by the International Literacy Institute (ILI) and the National Center on Adult Literacy (NCAL) at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
