The Nutrition Grant Project
The Nutrition Grant Project of San Diego Community College is developing content standards for nutrition education for adult English as a Second Language (ESL), model lessons on nutrition based on those standards, a textbook checklist for publishers and curriculum writers to evaluate adult ESL texts for coverage of nutrition topics, and guidelines that will outline effective school-based nutrition education.
