To access health literacy information through OTAN, log in to the OTAN Web site. After you are logged in, click on the following links:

- choose Library link, then
- click on the Online Documents link, then
- click on the Health Education link.

American Medical Association Partnership for Clear Health Communication
In addition to developing its own health literacy efforts, the AMA Foundation is a member of the Partnership for Clear Health Communication—a coalition of high visibility health organizations that is together addressing the problem of low health literacy. The goal of the partnership is to offer practical tools to healthcare providers, patients and caregivers that can help them bridge gaps in communications and ultimately improve health outcomes.
