Links for our website were selected using the following criteria:

• The site had to be within our scope (adult education, career education, vocational (career and technical) education).
• The site had to be current (updated regularly or have archival material of interest).
• The site had to provide high quality material and information. Quality was judged using the following criteria: contribution to knowledge, significance, relevance, innovativeness, effective presentation, thoroughness of reporting, authoritative source, relatedness to current priorities, intended audience and comprehensiveness.
• ACVE did not link to commercial sites unless they provided a service not available elsewhere or contained substantial free material that would be of interest to our constituency.
